Beach & Bay weekend workshop
Join us on a fun-filled weekend away in Killcare. Nestled in between Hardy's bay and Killcare beach an hour and thirty minutes from Sydney. We will explore the endless possibilities of capturing images worthy of hanging on your wall or making a coffee table book.

- Present our story to the rest of the group.
- Brain storming ideas.
- Shoot like the pros.
- Slide-show presentation.
- Print & Exhibit.
- Learn Photoshop
- proper file handling, processing & re-touching.

What to bring:

- Digital Camera (DSLR only)
- Camera Manual
- Charged & spare batteries
- Formatted cards
- Flash
- Laptop (Photoshop 7 or newer)
- Epson A4 size photo paper

Weekend Schedule:

-Depart Sydney Studio 5pm.
-Friday night dinner (Killcare).
- Saturday 7am - 9am shoot (Hardy's Bay).
- 9am Breakfast @ Cafe.
- 10am - 12pm (Edit).
- 12pm - 2pm (Bike ride & picnic lunch).
- 2-3pm (free time).
- 3:30-5:30pm shoot (Beach, Sunset & Dusk).
- 6:00 - 8:00pm (Edit, dinner & slide show).
- 8:00 - 9:00pm (Learn to use flash).
- Sunday 7am - 9am shoot (Killcare beach).
- 9am Breakfast @ Cafe.
- 10am - 1pm Printing & Re-touching Photoshop (Edit).
- 12pm - 1pm Final Presentation & Slideshow.
- 1pm - 3pm (Pub Lunch).
- 3:30 Drive back to Sydney.




About your tutors:

Andre Martin - My 15 years experience in photography started in Sydney, working in-house at ACP Publishing. I started my own photographic company in 1988 specialising in food, interiors, still life and children's fashion. Some of my clients include; Mini Minors, House & Garden magazine, Interiors magazine, Vogue Living, Estee Lauder, Osh Kosh B'Gosh, Clinique, Amway Australia, Nutrimetics International, Avon Products Australia Panasonic , Murdoch Publishing. Alfonso Calero - In 2001 I graduated with a diploma in photography from the Sydney Institute of Photography. I first got my break in travel photography shooting for Vogue Entertaining & Travel magazine. I have since specialised in food, still-life, portrait and travel photography. Some recent clients include; German Business Weekly, Japan Cuisine magazine, West NSW country councils, Notre Dame University, Travel & Living magazine, Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority and Big 4 caravan resorts. I regularly take keen photographers on workshops through the Rocks, Chinese Gardens and overseas.
